These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile application Go Translate - AI Translator ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of Service

The App provides AI-powered translation tools, including text translation, voice translation, camera translation, and photo translation across multiple languages. Certain features require an internet connection. Offline features, where available, may require downloading language packs.

3. Translation Accuracy Disclaimer

Important: Translations are generated automatically using AI and machine translation technology. While we strive for accuracy, translations may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Translations are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, official, or other critical purposes. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any translation before relying on it.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

  • The App is free to download. Certain premium features are available through optional auto-renewable subscriptions or in-app purchases.
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price shown at purchase.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • All purchases, cancellations, and refunds are processed and managed by Apple through your Apple ID. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support at https://support.apple.com.

5. Advertisements

The free version of the App is supported by third-party advertising. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your tracking preferences. Upgrading to a premium subscription may remove ads where indicated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will NOT use the App to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Translate, create, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
  • Use the App through automated means (bots, scrapers) or attempt to disrupt or overload our services;
  • Resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App or its features.

7. User Content

You retain all rights to the text, voice recordings, and images you submit for translation ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the translation service to you. You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit it.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, features, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (including translation providers, advertising networks, and analytics services). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSLATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP, INCLUDING ANY RELIANCE ON TRANSLATIONS PRODUCED BY THE APP. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 8, 10, 11, and 13) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India, unless otherwise required by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
